What to expect
As an Aviation Security Specialist, you will support our Aviation Security and Ground Operations team in their daily operational and regulatory activities, gradually developing into a more responsible role. You will gain extensive insight into all safety- and operations-related airline processes and collaborate closely with all operational departments. Thanks to our streamlined organizational structure, you will also develop a comprehensive understanding of the entire airline system and its interdependencies.
Your Tasks
- Support the Aviation Security Manager in operational and regulatory aviation security matters
- Assist with audits and authority inspections, including the implementation of resulting actions
- Prepare, maintain and further develop security policies, procedures, and training programs
- Analyze security threats and risks and contribute to risk management activities
- Support the planning, coordination and monitoring of ground handling processes
- Assist in the management and coordination of ground service providers and external partners.
- Support the continuous improvement of processes and standards in Aviation Security and Ground Operations
Your Profile
- Several years of experience in aviation security (e.g. airline, airport or ground handling provider)
- Good knowledge of aviation security management, particularly in line with EU Regulation 2015/1998 (11.2.3)
- Preferably successful completion of a security management course in accordance with EU Regulation 2015/1998 (11.2.5)
- Initial practical experience in Ground Operations and a strong interest in developing in this area
- Understanding of operational processes in flight operations, particularly in ground handling
- Structured, methodical and reliable approach to work
- Ability to translate regulatory requirements into practical operational solutions
- Team player with strong communication skills when working with internal and external stakeholders
- Very good German (C1 level) and English skills, both written and spoken
- Clear record of good conduct. (Background check acc. §7 Luftsicherheitsgesetz LuftSiG).
