Your Tasks
Compliance Monitoring
- Assumption of the role of Compliance Monitoring Manager in accordance with EASA Part 145
- Primary point of contact for the German Federal Aviation Office (LBA) on all compliance-related matters
- Planning, coordination, and oversight of audits, including management of the audit program
- Tracking and ensuring the timely closure of audit findings
- Ensuring adherence to all Part 145 requirements and MOE provisions
- Maintenance and revision of the MOE and compliance documentation
- Oversight of certification authorizations, qualifications, and training in accordance with Part 66
- Analysis of audit data and derivation of corrective and preventive actions
- Definition and coordination of compliance requirements, including the selection of auditors
Safety Management
- Primary point of contact for the LBA on all safety-related matters
- Operation and continuous development of the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses
- Monitoring and follow-up of safety actions and mitigation measures
- Leading and supporting occurrence investigations
- Preparation of safety reports for senior management
- Ensuring the implementation of safety training and proper documentation
- Advising the organization on all matters related to aviation safety
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Aviation Engineering, Engineering, Safety Management, or a comparable field; alternatively, a technical qualification (e.g. Aircraft Mechanic) with relevant professional experience
- Several years of experience in Part 145 Compliance Monitoring and/or Safety Management
- In-depth knowledge of EASA regulations (Part 145, Part-66, SMS)
- Experience in liaising with aviation authorities (LBA, EASA)
- Structured, analytical, and responsible working approach
- German language skills are an advantage
