Das „Maintenance Control Centre“ (MCC) von German Airways ist eine Erweiterung der Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) und arbeitet im 24/7 Betrieb an der Sicherstellung des Flugbetriebes:

• Die Sicherheit und Lufttüchtigkeit der Flugzeuge zu gewährleisten;
• Verfügbarkeit der Flugzeuge zur Erfüllung unseres Flugplans;
• Koordination aller notwendigen Aktivitäten zur Beschleunigung der Rückkehr der Flugzeuge in den Dienst während AOGs;
• Sicherstellung von pünktlichen Reparaturlösungen für AOGWartungen durch Beschleunigung aller Material und Ersatzteilanforderungen.

Deine Aufgaben

• Bereitstellung von Echtzeit technischer Unterstützung für Flugbesatzungen und Wartungsteams für im Dienst befindliche Flugzeuge.

• Überwachung von Flugzeugstörmeldungen, Verwaltung gemäß der Minimum Equipment List (MEL) Verzügerungen und Koordination von Reparaturen.

• Sicherstellung der Lufttüchtigkeit der gesamten Flotte durch Verwaltung des technischen Status und Einhaltung der Vorschriften.

• Akte als Bindeglied zwischen Flugbetrieb, Wartung, Technik und anderen Abteilungen (Planung, Einkauf).

• Verwaltung von Logbucheinträgen, technischen Aufzeichnungen und zugehörigen Dokumentationen während des täglichen Betriebs und in enger Abstimmung mit CAMO.

Das bringst du mit

• Minimum 5 Jahre Erfahrung in der Flugzeugwartung, mit mindestens 2 Jahren in einer vergleichbaren Position in der Luftfahrt. Idealerweise sollte diese Erfahrung in einem ACMI oder CharterSetting sein.
• Das Halten einer gültigen EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License und das Absolvieren von relevantem FlugzeugtypFamiliarizationTraining wären vorteilhaft.
• Fähigkeit, unter Druck in einer dynamischen Umgebung zu arbeiten.
• Starke Führungs, Kommunikations, Problemlösungs und Entscheidungsfähigkeiten.
• Beherrschung der englischen Sprache in Wort und Schrift.

What to expect

The German Airways “Maintenance Control Centre” (MCC) is an extension of the Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and operates 24 hours a day 7 days a week to provide services to meet the operator’s objectives, at the same time satisfying associated regulatory requirements with the goal of:

Ensuring safe and airworthy aircraft;
Availability of aircraft to meet our flight schedule;
Co-ordinating all necessary activities to expedite the aircraft’s return to service during AOGs;
Ensuring on-time repair solutions for AOG maintenance by expediting all material and parts requirements.

Your Tasks

Provide real-time technical guidance to flight crews and maintenance teams for in-service aircraft.
Monitor aircraft fault reports, manage acc. to Minimum Equipment List (MEL) deferrals, and coordinate repairs.
Ensure the entire fleet remains airworthy by managing technical status and compliance with regulations.
Act as the liaison between flight ops, maintenance, engineering, and other departments (scheduling, purchasing).
Manage logbook entries, technical records, and related documentation during daily operation and in close coordination with CAMO.

YOUR PROFILE

A minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance, with at least 2 years in a corresponding position in aviation. Ideally, this experience should be in an ACMI or charter airline setting.
Holding a valid EASA Part 66 Aircraft Maintenance License and completing relevant aircraft type familiarization training will be advantageous.
Ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
